Recent Lake Champlain Islands vacation rental reviews

Quiet, peaceful, very clean. Loved the decor and fabulous lake view. Can't wait to visit again!!

This house is really spectacular. It is a really big house, with lots of space. It was only my wife and I, but we just loved it. It is very conveniently located. They provided everything one might need for a stay...laundry soap, dishwashing soap. This is really a nice home for a family. There are plenty of things to keep everyone busy. My wife and I played Trivial Pursuit. Not quite as smart as I thought I was.

My son and I spent two nights here to watch the eclipse The property is as described on the site and meet all our expectations The beds were very comfortable, a great kitchen and the conservatory was a great place to spend some time in the late afternoon Although we didn’t use them the outdoor facilities are excellent and would appeal to a family with children.

Much of Vermont is verdant and lush, and the Lake Champlain region near the Quebec and Northern New York borders isn't any different. The Lake Champlain Islands are known for their majestic seashores and gorgeous mountain views. The area boasts 200 miles of pristine coastline - you might even spy Champ, the mythic monster that is said to reside in the lake! - as well as apple orchards and farmers markets galore.

Spotted by Samuel Champlain in 1609, the area was strategic in the War of Independence and was home to several pitch battles during the War of 1812. Two centuries later, the region is a tourist mecca, thanks to beautiful beaches, places for peaceful reflection, and eager locals wanting to lend a helping hand. Our Vermont vacation rentals on these small but scenic islands offer the best respite for the weary traveler.
