- Island Carriage Farm - Whether you are looking for a great family adventure on a sunny afternoon with the kids and Grand-ma and Grand-pa....... or......maybe.... just perhaps... you have been looking for that perfect romantic evening out with that very special someone! We at Island Carriage Farm can make it happen for you.
- Snow Farm Vineyard - Vermont's First Vineyard and Grape Winery. Bring a picnic and come out to the vineyard every Thursday evening from June to September, for the 2008 summer concert music series. All concerts are free and no tickets are required.
- Allenholm Farm - Activities on the farm includes pick your own apples, the Petting Paddock, tours and bed and breakfast accommodations.
- Fish Hatchery - The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department has five hatcheries, each with its own unique characteristics. The department started raising fish in Vermont in 1891. The oldest hatchery is in Roxbury, built in 1890-91. The newest hatchery was built in 1991 in Grand Isle. Today, the department's hatchery system produces almost a million fish annually. All of our hatcheries are open for viewing daily.
- Hackett's Orchard - Welcome to our Family operated farm market. Apples, raspberries, strawberries, farm-fresh vegetables. Also, maple syrup, honey and other Vermont made products. Bakery with cider donuts and home made pies. Please come visit our picnic and play area. Pick your own apples in season. Open daily April 1st - Dec. 31st.

- Cycling and Walking Paths - Local Motion is a Greater Burlington, VT 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to "promote bicycling, walking, running, inline skating and the facilities that make such travel safe, easy and fun."
- Grand Isle Ferry - Since its founding in 1826, Lake Champlain Transportation Company ferries have been navigating the waters of Lake Champlain.
- Vermont State Parks - Each Vermont State Park is an attraction. With ten parks in the Islands, there's plenty to see and do! Hiking, biking, canoes & kayaks interpretive walks, performances & programs. Picnics, swimming, boating & fishing. Camping - in tents, RVs, lean-tos or cabins. Fun for families, groups, or couples.
Golf
- Alburg Golf Links - Alburg Golf Links is an 18-hole course located on the shores of Northern Lake Champlain. The views of the Green Mountains in Vermont and the Adirondacks in New York can be seen from every hole. Alburg is known for its medium length along with open fairways and small greens. The course has the ability to provide each golfer with a challenging game and an escape into the beauty of nature. Golfers describe our front nine as being similar to a Scottish Links type. Our holes are separated in such a way that someone’s big slice or hook is not going to find a wrong fairway.
- Wilcox Cove - The 9-hole "Wilcox Cove" course at the Wilcox Cove Golf Course facility in Grand Isle, Vermont features 3,410 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 32 . Designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan, ASGCA, the Wilcox Cove golf course opened in 1947. Mary Heins manages the course as the General Manager.
Historic Sites
- St. Anne's Shrine - is a peaceful, spiritual, and historical attraction, which has been developed and maintained for the past 100 years by the Society of Saint Edmund in Vermont's scenic Champlain Islands. Each season, thousands of religious pilgrims, vacationers and tourists visit the popular waterfront site in Isle LaMotte for devotion and recreation.
- Fiske Farm - Adjoining our 24 acres is the Fisk Quarry Preserve. Owned and managed by the Isle La Motte Preservation Trust, the preserve is a 20 acre site which contains a rich wetland habitat for birds and animals as well as a geological treasure - remnants of the "oldest reef in the world".
- Hyde Log Cabin - One of the oldest log cabins in the United States. This one-and-a half story structure was built by Jedediah Hyde, Jr. circa 1783. Made of 14- to 18-inch diameter cedar logs, the cabin consists of one 20' x 25' room, with a massive fireplace at one end and an overhead loft.

- Lake Champlain Islands Chamber of Commerce - provides a wealth of information regarding Island history, upcoming events and general information about our beautiful islands and surrounding areas.
- The Islander - founded in 1974, is a weekly newspaper serving the northern Champlain Valley of Vermont and New York. The free newspaper circulates every Tuesday in the towns of South Hero, Grand Isle, North Hero, Isle La Motte, Alburg, Milton and Swanton in Vermont, and in Rouses Point, Champlain and Mooers in New York.

- The Bee Skep - An unusual store. I was able to find ideal gifts among the unique and wonderful array of innovative articles. Also I was exceptionally surprised with the owners of the store. They were so kind, and helpful in every way, especially as to crafts – jewelry making, rug hooking, and quilting.
